A longstanding tradition at The Willow School, Harvest Soup is a community event that focuses on the virtues of curiosity, responsibility, and, most importantly, gratitude. Students learn first-hand where their food comes from by planting and harvesting in the garden and visiting local farms. Students work together to collect vegetables and wash and prepare them for the soup and salad leading up to this day. Then, the entire Willow community gathers to eat a delicious meal at our meaningful celebration of gratitude, Harvest Soup. Parents are invited to attend a special Morning Gathering at the lower soccer field, starting at 8:15am, and then come back for soup at 11am!
